J. Greg Griffin, D.D.S.

A native of North Carolina, Dr. Griffin has been practicing dentistry since 1987.  He received a BS in Biology from UNC-Charlotte then attended dental school at UNC-Chapel Hill receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1987.  He then returned to his hometown of Marshville and opened a private dental practice where he provided comprehensive dentistry for over 21 years. In 2008, Dr. Griffin transitioned his dental practice to another practitioner to pursue a lifelong dream of sailing the Caribbean Sea. After two years of sailing and exploring, Dr. Griffin returned refreshed and ready to embark on the second phase of his career. He currently enjoys his hobbies as an avid fisherman and boater, riding motorcycles, flying, and traveling.

Dr. Griffin joined our Smithfield Comprehensive & Cosmetic Dentistry office in September 2011 as the primary dental provider for the practice.  He brings his many years of experience and expertise in dental treatment to offer full Comprehensive Dental Care including root canals, extractions, crowns, bridges, full and partial dentures, fillings, and routine dental care.
